IT'S BEEN A GREAT YEAR!

      

 

The school year has gone by so fast.  I can't believe that June is here.  I hope everyone has a relaxing and fun summer.  I can't wait to see you back here in the fall.  Thank you for a great year!

    

MAYtastic Work!

 We are racing towards the end of school!   Students are working hard in these last few weeks.  

Some ELA students redesigned book covers of their favorite books.  We discussed what went into designing a book cover.  Symbols, colors, characters, placement, and even font style can give clues to what the story may be about.  Here are some fantastic examples. 

                                                     

In some math groups, students have been conquering Critical/Creative Building Challenges.  There was a Paper Tower and Golf Ball Transport Challenge.
